They can linger during your round and even afterward – like that shoulder pain during your takeaway, the low back pain on your downswing, or the hip pain during your follow-through. This type of pain is your body telling you there is something a bit wrong. It can be the cause of a variety of factors including a sedentary lifestyle with dynamic movements, muscle imbalances, and limited mobility.
But, not to worry! This is something that can be assessed and treated under the guidance of a physical therapist! At Tee It Up Physical Therapy, you will be with a Titleist Performance Institute Certified, Doctor of Physical Therapy who will evaluate your impairments through movement analysis, muscle testing, range of motion assessments, and gathering a thorough history. Then using treatment techniques, we will get you back to the sport you love, and back on the course injury-free.
Following the initial rehab phase, you can move into our programming phase where we will work on injury prevention techniques, “prehab,” and progressing your treatment plan for longevity in the game of golf!
